Discover more about east Dorset’s horticulture and wildlife as Knoll Gardens’ owner Neil Lucas teams up with the Dorset Wildlife Trust for this guided walk across Ferndown Common to Knoll Gardens pointing out the differences and many similarities to be found in the landscape.

Bat Walk with Jan Freeborn
Normal Garden admission charge which will be divided between the charities involved.
Enjoy a special evening stroll as you search for Knoll’s most elusive night-time visitors. Using the latest technology and years of experience, Jan will help you identify the bats you see and hear, and attract them down for a closer look.
Music in the Garden with Gerauschherstel
Performing as part of Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe (BEAF) festival, Dorset-based musical ensemble, Gerauschhersteller use amplified pods, cacti and other plant materials to create this sound performance of John Cage’s Child of Tree, and Branches!
Listening to amplified sound through radio headphones, alongside other plant materials you’ll hear pods rattle and cacti needles plucked with toothpicks to create a new meditative experience in Knoll’s relaxing garden setting.
